Join the West Central QDMA Branch and Mark Kenyon, host of the Wired to Hunt podcast and founder and CEO of wiredtohunt.com for a special Q & A event on Thursday June 7. The night will feature a Q & A session with Mark covering all things deer hunting. Beer and snacks will be provided. Submit your questions now or make sure to bring some with you!
You are invited to join the Central Michigan Branch at their Burn Symposium featuring Dr. Craig Harper on June 16. The day will consist of a lecture on burning, property tour, and a burn demonstration (weather permitting). Lunch will be provided for all attendees.
For attendees interested, there will be a more in-depth property tour from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. with Dr. Harper. This session is limited to the first 30 people and the total cost for the day would be $20.
About Craig Harper:
Dr. Craig Harper is a Professor of Wildlife Management and the Extension Wildlife Specialist at the University of Tennessee. Craig is a regular contributor to Quality Whitetails and a Life Member of the QDMA. Dr. Harper and his graduate students concentrate their work on applied management issues, including forest management, early succession management, food plot applications, and the effects of quality deer management.
You are invited to join the Cadillac Area Branch at our Habitat Day featuring Jeff Sturgis! The day will start at the Tustin Community Center where Jeff will go through the habitat management plan he has put together for the property that will be walked that day. Once the morning discussion has wrapped up, Jeff will tour the property with everyone attending and continue to cover the management plan during the tour.
Lunch will be provided.
