Speakers that will be at this years Day of Whitetail Education. GRANT WOODS, PhD. – Featured on “Growing Deer TV”. Grant schooled at Missouri State, the University of Georgia, and Clemson University with degrees in wildlife and forest resources. During 2017 OUTDOOR LIFE named Grant one of the most influential people in hunting and called him “the people’s deer biologist.”

Session 1 – Techniques For Tagging Mature Bucks. An advanced scouting class, stand sites, wind, read the land, hunting based on strategy.

Session 2 – Advanced Food Plot Techniques – the Buffalo System.

ANDY BENSING – Legal Blood Tracking in PA., An Update. Availability and use of tracking dogs is exploding in PA. Andy worked for many years to convince the PGC to make blood tracking legal in PA. Because of Andy and other blood trackers’ persistence, it’s now legal.

GREG GRAHAM – PA Game Commission Game Warden. CWD Update. The Disease Management Area 4 Story and results from the 2018/2019 deer seasons up to date. Stay tuned, this was year ONE!

TESS GINGERY – Pennsylvania Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit, Penn State University. Tess fitted fawns with GPS collars and tracked their survival and movements in areas with some of the highest predator densities in PA. Find out how they survived or didn’t! This is the most intense study of fawn movements ever conducted on white-tailed deer.
