Central Wisconsin Premier Hunters Banquet! Join us for a great evening of fun filled raffles, games,
live and silent auctions at our 2020 Annual Hunters Banquet. You will not be disappointed by our selection of high quality guns, pistols, optics, habitat tools, wildlife/deer prints and our very popular Trail Camera Raffle.
This event will help support our local educational events/seminars, Share Your Hunt(R) Youth Deer Hunt, food plot/field days, QDMA in the Schools Programs, supporting local QDM Cooperatives, encouraging others to join QDMA and much more!

Tip of the Mitt Branch Seeking Interested Participants Who Want to Learn to Hunt!
If you want the ultimate in free-range, antibiotic/additive-free meat then sometimes you just have to do it yourself. Field to Fork, an initiative of the Tip of the Mitt branch of QDMA (Quality Deer Management Association) will teach you deer hunting basics to help you live more sustainably. Learn the basics of hunting, start to finish, the benefits of hunting, the important tie hunting has to conservation and ecosystem sustainability before committing to the sport.
Tip of the Mitt branch of the QDMA’s Field to Fork initiative is gauging the community for folks who would like to learn what is needed to source your own local meat in the form of deer hunting. We encourage interested parties to contact the district office or the information located below to register or express your interest in this program & workshop. Two dates are available to meet, join us for this Hunting 101 workshop when it fits your schedule, or just let us know you’re interested in the program but can’t make these times.
The Tip of the Mitt Branch is partnering with the Charlevoix Conservation District to help put on these two workshops.

Interested in harvesting local sustainable protein? No idea where to start? Then the Quality Deer Management Association’s (QDMA) Field to Fork Program is for you! This program is for new and novice hunters, ages 18 and over. This event is limited to 8 hunters on a first come first served basis.
New hunters will learn about deer hunting 101, deer biology, ethics, shot placement, spend time at the archery range with the crossbow, and ultimately head into the woods with a mentor for a hunt. Participants will spend Saturday morning and afternoon in a classroom setting and at the range. They will then head out into the woods for a Saturday evening and Sunday morning hunts.
If there are any successful participants that harvest a deer, how to care for and handle a deer after the shot will also be a key component of the event.
Cost is $40 and includes the use of crossbows, clothing, and other needed equipment. It also includes snacks and lunch on Saturday and grab and go snacks on Sunday before the hunt. It will also include a membership to QDMA. Not included in this cost are hunting license and lodging.
