Lindsay Thomas Jr.


Lindsay Thomas Jr. is the editor of Quality Whitetails magazine, the journal of QDMA, and he is QDMA's Director of Communications. He has been a member of the QDMA staff since 2003. In addition to producing QDMA's magazine, he served as editor of QDMA's newest book, Deer Cameras: The Science of Scouting, and he was co-editor of QDMA's book Quality Food Plots. He was also a contributing author on both books. Lindsay has also written two e-books for the free Kindle app: One Year to Better Deer: 12 Months of Do-It-Yourself Ideas for Killer Deer Hunting, and also a collection of hunting fiction: The Blood Trail and Other Deer-Hunting Stories. Prior to joining the staff of QDMA, Lindsay was an editor at a Georgia hunting and fishing news magazine for nine years. Throughout his career as an editor, he has written and published numerous articles on deer management and hunting. He earned his journalism degree at the University of Georgia. Lindsay lives in Georgia with his wife, Anne, and their three children, Jake, Laurel and Julia.
