Default Long day

I shot this doe Monday evening. I wasn't sure of the shot and it was supposed to be cold overnight so I left her. I found the blood trail the next morning but lost it after about 100 yards in some thick Briars. Mid afternoon, I was about to call it quits. Before I left I decided to walk around a large Bog the was nearby. I found her down a few feet from waters edge. 110 Dressed.

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body.
But rather to skid in sideways totally worn out, shouting
"holy cow...what a ride!"

Way to go! Not sure I would have as much patience to look that long. Just shows one needs to keep looking.
