anyone ever hunted on a farm where the farmer planted purple hull peas? i am betting that the deer will crush it but also wondered what the nutrional value of this would be for deer?.....put out 7 trace mineral blocks last week and i'm itchin to get my camera out in the woods soon!!! i can't for some good ol bow hunting! :
ok....thats good to hear.....i reckon as long as its new and green then it can't be bad for them.....hopefully they'll get fat off of it and hit our mineral/salt licks hard....im ready to see how they hit it!
Sorry, but bacon DOES go good with purple hull peas!
and I found out last year that I/C peas are also yummy for people to eat! My wife likes them better than purple hulls and as long as she's doing the picking and shelling, I feel the same way. Actually planted corn and I/C peas in my garden this year.
