Default Laredo soybeans

Hey guys got a couple of questions. First year of planting the Laredo soybeans along with corn. Had to broadcast them as i have no planter and although got a decent stand the corn was perfect and the beans just so so. I was too late to get forage beans as i turned an old 4 acre hay field into a plot and it was spur of the moment. Before the other types of beans i have planted came up great along with the corn and broadcasted and tilled exactly the same this year. What type of growth can i expect and how do they stand up to browse pressure. Moderate deer density in SW VA. First time with them and really dont know what to expect i just know that due to the size of the seed that maybe tilled them in too deep. Thanks Don
