Greetings to all of our QDMA friends! We are gearing up for our 2nd annual banquet and the upcoming season of chasing whitetails.
We are hosting a seminar at 6:30pm, September 5th at the Jay Henges facility. The MDC has asked us to help with a seminar about “How to Plant a Food Plot”. A Private Land Specialist will be on hand to show how natural habitat enhancement and various cost share programs can help to turn your piece of land into a whitetail haven. We are going to show a great power point display, from the national office, and we are hoping to recruit new members to Missouri’s QDMA and garner some more attention towards our upcoming banquet.
Our 2nd annual banquet will be held on September 21 at Andre’s (Fenton). We were very happy with the food and facility. Bryan Kinkel has agreed to be our feature speaker at the banquet this year and we hope that you are looking forward to his knowledge as much as we are. Many various members, businesses and clubs are helping us with donations and items for your benefit at the banquet, but we could us more sponsorship and participation from local businesses and corporations. Since we are a non-profit organization, all of your donations are a great tax buffer.
Finally, we could use some donations for the auction and door prizes at the banquet. Hunts, outdoor gear, art, baseball or hockey tickets, gift certificates, or whatever you think would be helpful for our efforts to forward the QDMA in Missouri. Deer management is growing in Missouri! Thank you for your time!
