This was in the response, but its just breading facilities, couldn't begin to guess one the # of private HF or outfitter HF properties out there.
# of whitetail hunters may be tough in some states since you don't have to buy any special license indicating you're hunting deer. A lot do though. Would be a total guess, but it has to be in the 10s of millions.

higher and is estimated to be at least 20.5
million. This number includes the paid
license holders, as well as youth hunters (7
years of age and older) and other hunters
(such as landowners) who are not required
to purchase a hunting license.
I would have guessed higher. These are only lic hunters, so dosn't mean deer hunters. I was doing quick math with PA being near 1 Mil deer hunters , would guess when you include the others you get +10Mil.
