Curious, not a scientific approach, but if you dated your hunter harvests the last 3-5 years (whatever you have) and plotted them by day, what would it look like ?

That's an easy 1, 80% of our hunters are here from Halloween week thru our gun opener...which is a 2.5 week period. That's when we kill em, not because it's the best time to hunt(it may be) but because that's when they are here.

Our total numbers are too low to derive anything from the data. It would be cool to see the numbers from these guys selling 300-400 hunts a year. If you look at the link I posted in the "whiners" thread it has a pretty cool bar chart showing the daily harvest for every day of season.

We actually have 3 left. Got a call from one of my long time hunters this week and he has 2 hunts in IL this fall that he bought at QDMA convention last year so he doesn't think he is going to make it.

matt, I really love what you do. I follow a lot of your posts, and man would I love to be able to do the same thing some day. I wish to come hunt your place one year with either my uncle or my friend. Just seems like a fun road trip from Ohio.

I can tell you I really enjoy it, but it consumes a TON of my time. I spend probably 40 weekends a year over there plus another 6-8 weeks throughout the year.

If I didn't enjoy it I would not do it.

Hopefully you and your buddies will get to come and see it some day.
