ROS VEGAS

No it isn't spring and plotting/turkeys/fishing/mushrooms.....
It is the smell of a VENISON ROAST COOKING IN THE CROCKPOT!
Yes I got one in the pot right now.
Lets not all forget one of the reason for all of this work/effort.....a fantastic
meal of nature's bounty to be shared with family/friends.
We used to cut up the necks for burger/processed meats. Now I keep
it as 1 or 2 neck roasts depending on size. I cook roast in crock pot
and have as pot roast with taters and veggies. Then I make sandwiches out of
the leftover meat. Venison on a sandwich with a nice canned hot pepper!
Then the roast goes back into a crockpot again, add water, simmer for hours, pick it clean
and add vegetables to crock to make venison vegetable soup.
I never knew a neck roast could give me 3 such wonderful diffent types of meals!
