Viewing events?
I am pretty sure the "events" are just to show you how many times the camera was triggered.
I.E. If your memory card was full so it can't save anymore pictures it will keep track of the "events" (pictures it could have taken) - If nothing else, maybe someone who knows for sure will post:D

Yes, the events are triggerings that happen while you camera is processing the picture it has taken and before the time you specified the camera to take a picture. For example, every minute, hour or so forth. There is also a count which is when the Cuddeback sees an animal an increments and electronic counter. Unlike an event, the date and time is not stored. The Cuddeback can hold 65,000 counts and 475 events.

Never really understood the purpose of the event counter.
Why would you want to know you just missed a picture?

I don't know. I guess if you have a longer time set between pictures, it might help you to determine if you should lower your time and have it take pictures more often.
