Hey guys I am looking for places to purchase bare root plants for my property - my list contains some of the following plants:
Chinkapins
Buttonbush
Arrowwood
Ninebark

The state forestry dept. has a lot of stuff to offer. They start selling in October and they can deliver for a small fee or you can go pick up your order at either their Augusta County farm or the Garland Gray Forestry south of Richmond. Just checked and even though the store isnt open till they start shipping but they dont list the ones I am looking for.

They should have the Chinkapins, but don't know if they have the others you're looking for.
You might try:
Missouri Dept of Conservation
The Wildlife Group Nurseries
Mossy Oak NativNurseries
I'd also suggest trying a few Chinese Chestnut. Other than apples, I haven't found anything that will draw deer better. Grows fast and trouble free too. VDOF sells those also.
