I drove by this sprayer for sale yesterday, but don't know enough about them to know a good price from a bad one. According to the farmer's son, (his Dad is now in a nursing home and the son lives 4 hours away) the sprayer hasn't been used in 10 years, but was working fine. I wasn't able to see the pump, but was told it's been sitting in an oil bath since taken off the rig. I'm sure the hoses will have to be replaced. He's asking $650.00 for it. Personally, it seems high to me. What do you guys think?

Easiest way for me to decide if it is a fair price or not is if it sold for the asking price would you be kicking yourself afterwards for not getting it. 650 will get you a new fimco 55 gal sprayer with a pump. If your needs require 200 gal sprayer than this might be a deal for you. The PTO pump alone usually goes for over a 100 dollars brand new alone. Hoses are pretty inexpensive to replace since these are not high pressure braided hoses.

Personally I think 650 is a little high. 200 would be a steal. If it has sat for ten years and never ran don't be suprised if you have to replace a spray tip or two thats going to be clogged.

Paid $500 for one VERY similar last year. The only piece of equipment we have I have ever not gotten a steal on..:)

If the pump is good and the tank doesn't leak, it's worth $400-$500.

Well, I just paid $500 for it. It's been stored inside, one owner, only driven to church on Sundays......

The pump can be reversed and take suction from a pond or river.....nice feature.

I picked up a 300 gallon pull type sprayer last year for 300. I bought a pump and replaced the plumbing. This year I replaced a flat tire. I use my sprayer a ton. It is one of my most important pieces of equipment. Mine has 30 foot booms on it and I love it. I probably now have about 1,000 in mine but a brand new 150 gallon 3 point hitch 21 foot boom sprayer from Ag Spray is about $1,600
