NICE!! Hate to get that dirty. With cutters in the front and smoothers in the back...that should do the trick.:D

Great job. When I buy used equipment I pretty much just oil and grease and put it to work. Your disk looks great.

Did you keep track of how much time you have into it? I don't think most folks would believe what it takes. Great work.

I too would be interested in the time it took. I'm not very mechanical but have an old disc that I would love to refurbish if I could figure out how to do it and find the time. Would love the details on your refurbished job. Looks great too!

Where did you get the replacement discs? Approximate cost? Square or round gang shafts?

started in sept 2010, took tons of pictures, drew diagrams and lots of notes. I have excellent memory which also helped, most bolts had to be cut off, many wire wheels, replaced the main support with 4x4/3/8 tube, and the c channel under the wheel carrier, welded for added strength, all bolts grade 8, if you need advice or questions e mail me, also whats the disk you have?

Great Job!

That's where I get spare hubs and tires. The guy that converts equipt. for the Amish just cuts the hub off to put metal tires on things.

Don't what they have against rubber tires. but I can pick up a decent tire and rim for $15 if my timing is right.
