Hey guys,
After getting about 3 inches of much needed rain, my once fallow 'ready for seed' plot, has turned into a field full of what I believe is bermuda sprouts. Prior to this rain, the field had very little growth leftover from the 3 sprayings and 2 discings I did earlier this summer.

My concern now is whether or not to spray and/or disc it, again. I plan on sowing a perenial clover/chicory plot in 2-3 weeks.

I did get a chance to turn the soil under about 4 inches or so. This seemed to turn a lot of the new growth under.

Here are some pics. First pic shows on the left how thick the growth came up, the right side is where I disced.

Here's another of that same area. The small patches were left because my 4 wheeler ended up overheating.smileys/smiley5.gif

Oh and btw, all this discing was done with an unweighted king kutter ATV disc. So far, I've been very happy with it.

Thanks
Jim

spray--especially bermuda and then plant in 2 weeks. Those bermuda roots are hard to kill with just discing alone.
