one quart of sprayable granulated ammonium sulfate per acre.
1.7 oz per gallon - depends on how much water you use.

8.5 to 17 lbs per 100 gallons of water. For a 25 gallon tank 2 to 4 lbs. If your water is very hard, lean toward the 4 lbs. You do not have to be precise.

Are there any negative affects if you use to much?

Are there any negative affects if you use to much?Similar to what any other Nitrogen fertilizer would have.
AMS can also be broadcast as a fertilizer, for Nitrogen and a source of Sulfer. AMS is also sometimes used as part of a starter fetilizer mix. Most herbicides are acidic, the AMS just makes the tank mix slightly more acidic.

Well that's good to know. I didn't calculate right and ended up putting 4lbs. in 4 gal. of water and didn't realize it till it was already mixed up. That's what I get for hurrying, lol. Thanks!
