Here's a pic. of my milo (grain sorghum) that was no till planted in mid june, the field had oats last fall that froze out, so I was still able to utilize the fertilizer that was still in the ground.

Good looking plot---I bet the deer and turkey are going to join when the seed heads mature.

Awesome stand of milo! I'm jealous, because everytime our neighbor plants milo, we have a great deer season. I just can't get it to grow myself. You may need a gun to keep the deer out of there, good luck this year.

IF YOU PLANT IT THEY WILL COME, GUARANTEED !! IT MAKES AN AWESOME EARLY BOW SEASON PLOT & A LOT OF WILDLIFE UTILIZE IT. IF YOU CAN GROW WEEDS OR CORN, YOU CAN GROW MILO.

What are some of the better varieties to use for deer? I understand that some get to tall.

Great plot Bausco. My sorghum was a disaster this year. I could just see hundreds of roosters breaking out of that planting if it was on our farm!!!
