Has anyone ever overseeded oats with turnips? Will it produce a good stand? Thanks:)

How long have the oats been in? (ie. how much dirt is still showing?). I had a similar question a few weeks ago about how folks' experience has been with true topseeding of turnips and most guys said they'd had success with purple-top turnips etc by broadcasting before a rain- if the oats are dense, you could topseed, then mow to cover the seed and allow light in, or just topseed if the stand isn't too thick - someone here has probably tried it...
Came out great for me. A real good fall/winter plot!
Mowed by the original John & Jane Deer in December!

Thanks all, I've always liked BFO for satellite hunting plots, and by Maya's pics it looks as if turnips is going to only make it better.:D
