10th Annual National Convention Recap!
The QDMA National Convention was dubbed as a success at the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville, Kentucky for its 10th Year Celebration. As planned, the educational events and evening events were phenomenal.
Each year QDMA brings together the most well-respected biologists and white-tailed deer specialists, industry celebrities, country music entertainers and in-demand exhibitors who make the National Convention a must-see event for the dedicated attendees. The 10th Annual National Convention was a great success for the QDMA, as well as a step forward in the growth of the organization and the realization of the mission to ensure the future of white-tailed deer and better deer hunting, and this year’s event promised even more.
In the words of Ed Morris, “On behalf of Derby City QDMA and myself personally, I would like to congratulate you on a fantastic, first class event this past weekend. From beginning to end, everything was handled in a professional manner and we were extremely impressed with the organization and implementation of an event such as this. People do not realize the planning and daily revisions that occur in putting on an event of this magnitude. We hope to continue down that same path in the future with even better things to promote the growth and stability of QDMA on both the National and local levels. We had a great weekend and look forward to next year’s event.”
The three-day event was jam packed with intense research sessions geared toward committed land managers and hunters, informative seminars for outdoor enthusiasts, fun-filled evenings with live entertainment and exciting auctions and an awards ceremony honoring those branches and individuals who have performed beyond expectation, top-notch taxidermy and a Whitetail Expo with numerous vendors offering the newest and best in wildlife management gear.
At the moment, the location for the 11th Annual National Convention & Whitetail Expo is unknown. We, as an organization, are excited as well as determined to pick the most promising spot for success.
